  Very frowsy in the decor. Quite pretty gardens. Gift shop was weird. A big barn with home economic style scarves and strange merchandise - lavender soaps. We tried a few wines. They were nice and the Villa one was exceptional. The girl behind the counter was nice but they are running the shop and the winery all in one so we didn't feel like waiting so we left. They need to change the marketing, the decor and even the fire place was disappointing. It needs a serious boost and rejuvenation to bring it to this century.

  Interesting place as it has the largest collection of Miesen in the southern hemisphere, we did a Groupon/Scoopon deal and had the Miesen tour along with a wine tasting and lunch all very nice. Gardens worth a walk through and accommodation available. Interesting sculptures in the main entrance.
